The champion Golden State Warriors are adding to their presence of former Phoenix Suns members.  Reports say that the Warriors are in advanced talks to hire recently retired 2-time MVP Steve Nash in a player development role.  Nash retired in February due to chronic back issues that prohibited from continuing his legendary career.  This move by the Warriors is going to make them even better in my opinion. Steve Nash is arguably one of the best point guards in NBA history, being one of the best passers to take the court. Steph Curry is a stellar talent, but passing isn’t the strongest fashion of his game.  He is now going to be able to learn from one of the best.  The objective is for Nash to work with Golden State’s guards to develop their talent. I personally believe this is going to be huge for Curry. I knew that whenever Steve Nash decided to hang it up that he would still be involved with basketball in some capacity.  He is currently the general manager of Canada’s national basketball team.  This new role with the Warriors fits Nash extremely well. He has worked with several guards on developing their skills such as Jordan Clarkson, D’Angelo Williams, Jeremy Lin, Kemba Walker, and Ray McCollum.  I honestly believe that Steve Nash will have an immediate impact on the Warriors because of his skill set and IQ of the game.
