In my opinion, I think the Chicago Bulls would be stupid to get rid of coach Tom Thibodeau. Since he’s taken over he has lead that franchise in a different direction. Rumors are that he and GM Gar Forman don’t have a good relationship.. And I say “so what?” Why would you want to get rid of a coach who completely transformed this team into a constant threat in the eastern conference? They have made the playoffs in every year since he became head coach, he made the Bulls one of the best defensive teams in the league, Rose won MVP, Noah won Defensive Player of the Year, he basically made Jimmy Butler into the two way player he is and this years Most Improved Player. It just doesn’t make sense to me why they would get rid of Thibs. Yes, they haven’t made the finals yet, but honestly if they had a healthy Derrick Rose during Thibs’ tenure thus far, it’s very possible they could have. You can’t blame a coach for injuries or having to play Lebron. Thibs hasn’t done anything to get himself dismissed, and Gar Forman would be an idiot to release a man who revamped this team. The players want Thibs, it’s a players’ league. We’ll just have to wait and see.
